In Book One of The Hem, Daniel, the Jerusalem civil project manager, commissioned his artisans to create a pendant to present to Veronica the eve of her dramatic escape. Veronica was astonished at its beauty which depicted the Jerusalem Temple sitting on the earth with the dark Northern Walls on each side. Dennis McKaskey saw the pendant and created replicas for all readers to enjoy while they reflect on its sacred meaning and significance.
